ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Parts of West State Street will be closed for more than a month. Right around lunch time today, workers shut down West State between Kilburn and Stewart. Between now and December first, they'll be removing and replacing water mains and sewage pipes.
A detour will be in place until construction is complete.
