ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A local sports complex is getting a face-lift.
Fourteen volunteers from Carpenters Local 792 spent Tuesday at Roy Gayle Baseball Park on Meridian Road. They worked on the roof of the new concession stand and facilities building. Other local construction unions have also volunteered their time to make improvements ahead of next year's baseball season.
