ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A lot of people cared about William Wallis. That's very evident from the turnout at a candlelight vigil held Wednesday night to remember him.
He was just 33-years-old when he was shot on Arcadia Terrace Monday. Friends and family members gathered in the area to share stories about his life. He's described as an outgoing, friendly man who loved his family dearly. He had five children.
Police are looking for two possibly three men who killed Wallis. He was with another man, Andrew Gustafson, who was also shot when the two were getting into a truck. Gustafson is expected to survive.
