UPDATE: Home Invasion Likely Not Random

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Two people, including a pregnant woman, were tied up inside their home just after midnight, when their house was robbed.

It happened on Sage Drive, near East Riverside and Alpine. Police say three men entered the home, tied up the residents and then beat them before rummaging through rooms in the house. The men were wearing bandanas over their faces. Police say they don't think the break-in was random.

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Two Rockford residents are safe this morning after a home invasion took place at a residence on the 3900 block of Sage Drive. Police say around 12:15 a.m. three men burst into the house and tied the victims up. The suspects hit the victims over their heads several times demanding certain items. Once they ransacked the house the suspects fled the scene on foot.

The victims, one pregnant, were taken to the local hospital for their injuries and are listed in stable condition.

The suspects are described wearing all black clothing and had their faces covered with black bandanas.
