ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A couple of car crashes to tell you about.

First, two cars collided at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of State and Meridian. Sheriff's deputies say one of the driver's failed to use their turn signal. Three people were hurt. They are expected to be okay.

Shortly before that an elderly woman crashed into a home on Auburn Street. Rockford Police say she had just gone through the Burger King drive-thru when she accidentally hit the gas instead of the break. She wound up striking the porch of a home that houses three families. No one was injured.
