ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- SwedishAmerican Hospital is making some improvements of their own. Over the next year or so, the hospital will spend more than $5 million to enhance patient care.
About $2.3 million will be spent to renovate and relocate quite a few departments.
The rest will go towards improvements to their surgery department, including new state of the art equipment.
