Study: Bullying Has Long Term Effects

NATIONAL (WIFR) -- A groundbreaking new study finds that kids who are bullied will be dealing with the trauma well into adulthood.

Researchers at Duke University followed 1,500 kids from ages 9 to 26. They found that the ones who had been bullied were 14 times more likely to have anxiety disorders, depression and suicidal thoughts as adults. Kids who were bullies themselves were also at an increased risk of developing anti-social personality disorders years later.
