JANESVILLE (WIFR) -- The 2013 Southern Wisconsin Airfest has been cancelled.

The executive board says its too much of a struggle to compete with Rockford’s Airfest. Part of the problem is that the festival never as successful when the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels can't fly. Last year they had a hard time generating enough money to hold Airfest at all.
