ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- More than half-a-dozen local emergency departments have spent the last three hours trying to stop a fire from spreading on the city's west side.

Things are just starting to die down at a home on Euclid Avenue, which is near the Farm and Fleet off of West State Street. Crews are trying to determine what caused the structure to go up in flames. 23 News will bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.
