ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Calling all cat lovers, there are plenty of felines waiting to go to good homes at Winnebago County Animal Services.

Workers at animal services say they have over 75 cats and kittens up for adoption right now. Until Saturday, its only $5 to adopt any cat. All of them are micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, and vaccinated. You will also receive a bag of food. Many of these cats were brought in as strays, so the shelter encourages you to check them if you have a lost pet.
