ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Rockford police say they arrested a sexual predator Thursday afternoon at Jefferson High School.

School officials identified Timothy Jones, 45, as a sex offender when he arrived at the school with his friend to pick up her children. In Illinois, sex offenders have to get permission from the school principal to step foot on school property. Police say Jones didn't have permission.
