ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A Keith Country Day school senior is hosting a blood drive at a Rockford jewlery store Tuesday as part of a senior project.
According to a press release, Annabel Clodius has an uncommon bleeding disorder called Von Willebrand Disease. She learned her sophomore year. As part of her senior project, she is raising awareness about her bleeding disorders and others, such as hemophilia.
It will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Clodius & Co. Jewelers, 252 S. Mulford Road. Donors must be 17 years old or 16 with parental consent. They must also weigh at least 110 pounds and have general good health.
There will also be a drawing to win one of three gifts courtesy of Clodius & Co.
