The brother of a missing Machesney Park woman says he will not give up until Katrina Smith is found.
After a nearly two week search, friends and family members are back on the hunt once again. Volunteers are walking in groups through Camp Winnebago. Smith's brother said the search party will start working its way through other parks in the Stateline. You may remember Smith's car and purse were found last month in Machesney Park. Her wallet was picked up in Rockford. Family members said they are trying not to lose hope.
" As long as people are here and wanting to look for Katrina, this is what we are going to do,” said Katrina Smith’s brother Chad Kaltved. “We will not put an end to this. We will continue to search until no one comes, and then it still might be us."
We know so many of you are invested in this case.. we will continue to bring you the latest information as it becomes available.
