FREEPORT (WIFR) -- The support keeps rolling in for Sensata workers as the Service Employees International Union or SEIU held a rally at the Freeport plant Monday afternoon.
Dozens of SEIU members from Chicago and Indiana joined Union President Mary Kay Henry in supporting Sensata workers who are fighting the outsourcing of U.S. jobs.
Rev. Jesse Jackson was there for a third time today. As for Henry, she says she wants workers to keep the momentum going.
"They’re standing up for all working people in an economy that doesn't work for us anymore. We have your back and we want to support you in making sure that good jobs stay in Freeport, and to make sure that they get what they deserve," said Henry.
Henry says she hopes to help the workers once the plant closes in December.
