CHICAGO (AP)-- Lawyers for the Former Illinois Governor, Rod Blagojevich will go before the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Friday to ask that his corruption convictions be tossed out.
This will most likely be Blagojevich's last chance to win his freedom.
FBI agents arrested the former governor five years ago this week. In 2011, he was convicted of a wide range of charge, including trying to profit from his power to name someone to President Obama's old U.S. senate seat.
Blagojevich is serving a 14 year sentence at a Colorado prison.
