UPDATE: Rockton Man Sentenced for Having Explosives in Home

ROCKTON (WIFR) – A Rockton man who had guns, makeshift explosives, and marijuana found in his home will spend the next three years in prison.

Glenn Hetzer was sentenced today by Judge John Truitt. Back in August 2014, officers searched Hetzer’s home in the 600 block of Wingate Place in Rockton. Inside they found improvised explosive devices along with guns, ammunition, and pot.

The homeowner, Glenn Hetzer, now faces charges after the bomb squad searched his home at 655 Wingate Place Saturday.

Police say they got a tip there were explosives in the home. Investigators say once they got inside they found drugs, guns, and improvised explosive devices.

Officers say there was never any threat to people who lived in the surrounding neighborhood.
