Rockford Teen Pleads Not Guilty to Murder Charges

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- One of the teens arrested for a murder that took place in a Rockford housing complex says he didn't do it.

Damarius Nelson, 18, plead not guilty in court Thursday. He and Tommy Nabors, 19, are accused of fatally shooting Jimmy Hollins, 20, on February 25 in the Fairgrounds Housing Complex. Nabors will be back in court on April 25. Nelson's next court date is may 26.
