Rockford Christian Robotics Team Comes in 2nd Place at Global Innovations Awards Ceremony

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Some future engineers are making a name for themselves. After developing an award winning product that makes life easier for senior citizens.

A viewing party was held Tuesday at Rockford Christian School for the Royal Narwhals Robotics Team.They are in Washington, D.C. for the Global Innovations Awards Ceremony. Here's the amazing part out of nearly 20,000 teams from around the world Rockford Christian came in second place for their invention. It's a magnetic plug adapter that help seniors plug technology into outlets. For coming in second place the team receives $5,000.
