ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- If you have o-negative blood type your help is needed.
Rock River Valley Blood Center uses about 20 to 30 units of that blood type a day. We're told just yesterday they only had 2 units. O negative is the most common blood type used at local area hospitals and during ambulance transports. Workers say they're also running low with a negative blood.
