ROCK COUNTY (WIFR) -- A fire destroys a popular bar in Rock County, but owners say they plan to rebuild.
Around 4:00 a.m. Monday when Edgerton fire crews arrived to the Anchor Inn Bar they say flames were shooting through the roof.
Sixteen fire departments responded and at one point highway 59 had to be closed. Investigators say the fire started in the ceiling above the kitchen.
They estimate damages between $500,000 to a million dollars.
A firefighter was hurt during the blaze and is being treated for minor injuries.
No one was in the building at the time.
