ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- We're going to want to check our refrigerators and freezers for beef that was sold in Illinois that could make us sick.
A Northern California company recalled more than 8.7 million pounds of beef. That includes beef carcasses, oxtail, liver, cheeks, tripe and tongue.
The USDA says eating it could make us sick, but there haven't been any reports of illness.
The meat was processed by Rancho Feeding Corporation from January 1, 2013 through January 7, 2014.
