Prairie Preservation Society of Ogle County Receives Grant to Assist with Stewardship Work

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The Prairie Preservation Society of Ogle County (PPSOC) has received a grant from the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation to assist with stewardship work at Sand Ridge Prairie (formerly the Sinnissippi Cut-it-Yourself Christmas tree farm).

Part of the grant includes matching funds for donations. For every $1.00 donated, the granting agency will contribute $3.00 up to a maximum of $21,000.00. The sooner PPSOC receives donations, the faster they can get to work.
