Update: Burglary Suspects Identified

Rockford (WIFR) -- Rockford Police have now released the names of the two teenagers accused of burglarizing a home on the city's east-side.

The names are Stephon G. Hambrick and Marcus M. Williams, both Rockford residents.

Investigators say a neighbor called police saying the suspects were inside this house in the 38 hundred block of Tennessee Drive, which is in the rolling green area. The home's owner tells us the suspects, who are both 18, broke a window with a rock and made their way inside.

Officers are now trying to determine if the burglary is linked to any others in the Stateline.

Neighbors say the suspects were going door to door asking people about a lost dog. They say that was the teens way of finding out who was not home.
