ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Between Avon, Pampered Chef, and purse parties; there's several themes to choose from when hosting an at-home party and now there's a new one growing locally in popularity: designer jeans.

Beth Tolmie is a regional coordinator for Vault Denim. It’s a Utah-based company that provides the inventory for parties. They include up and coming brands and even premium lines found in up scale department stores. The best part they're sold for about 50-percent off.

Tolmie said, "It's a lot more fun because you don't have a presentation to give. You have to sit and listen through—there are no goofy games to play. It’s all: you come in, you shop, you try on the jeans, you buy them and take them home the same night."

Join us tonight on the 23 News Update at 10 for a full story on Vault denim and how you could host or attend a designer jeans party.

too bad this Beth isn't really the one that brought the business to this area....the person responsible is in the video, but Beth took the credit for it by manipulating this interview

The "Designer Jeans" in the photo show just how gullible the consumer is to marketing and peer pressure.
