SEWARD (WIFR) -- There's a new place to enjoy the great outdoors and its just in time to take in the fall colors.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Thursday morning for the overlook at Sewards Bluffs Forest Preserve. The overlook replaces the old wood structure that had fallen apart over the years.
The $154,000 project has been in the works for two years and was made possible thanks to a $50,000 donation from the Dr. Barbara Mae Atwood Animal Foundation.
