MACHESNEY PARK (WIFR) – Construction is underway on a new army reserve center in Machesney Park.
Once it’s complete, the new headquarters will be nearly 40,000 square feet and will replace outdated facilities in both Beloit and Rockford. This project has been at least two years in the making. You may recall congress allocated $13 million for a new reserve center back in 2011. Crews say they hope to wrap up construction by early December.
