UPDATE: NAPERVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- A suburban Chicago man says he is "forgiving" his wife days after she allegedly stabbed to death their son and a boy she was babysitting.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Artur Plackowski posted on Facebook that his wife, Elzbieta Plackowska loved her 7-year-old son, Justin, and he cannot understand why she would have killed him. Then he says, "I am forgiving her!!!!!"
Artur Plackowski also writes in Polish a note to the dead boy, asking that he not "abandon" the family during a difficult time.
Elzbieta Plackowska is accused of stabbing her son 100 times and 5-year-old Olivia Dworakowski about 50 times. Authorities have said she told investigators she killed her son because she was angry at her husband, but Artur Plackowski the two weren't having problems.

Marshall says the woman's 7-year-old son had been stabbed about 100 times and the 5-year-old girl she was babysitting stabbed 50 times.
Marshall says Plackowska told investigators that she'd killed Justin Plackowska and Olivia Dworakowski after they begged for their lives.
He also said some of the investigators had previously met the little girl on her first day of kindergarten when they were called to her school to look for her after she inadvertently walked into the wrong classroom.
NAPERVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- First-degree murder charges have been filed against a suburban Chicago woman in the death of her 8-year-old son and a 5-year-old girl she was babysitting.
DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin says Elzbieta Plackowska (elz-BEE'-tah plah-KOW'-skuh) of Naperville is to appear in Bond Court today. He refused to comment further on the charges against the 40-year-old woman.
Police officers asked to check in on a home found two dead children inside, including a kindergartener.
Police and the prosecutor's office refused to provide any details about how the children were killed or give their names. However, Brookdale Elementary School said one of the slain children was a kindergartener there.
Authorities did say there was no reason to believe others were involved in the crime.
