NIU Police Chief Fired

DEKALB (WIFR) -- It's been a year of controversy for the Northern Illinois University Police Department.

Tonight we've learned Police Chief Donald Grady has been fired. Grady came under fire recently for his office's handling of a sexual assault case involving a police officer. He's been on paid administrative leave for about three months.
