ROCKFORD (WIFR) – Rockford Police are looking for a White 2000 Ford Explorer that was stolen early Tuesday morning.

Police say two people were walking near the area of Pond and Court Street around 12:30 when one of the two suddenly left the other. That’s when allegedly 5 suspects approached the lone man and robbed him at gunpoint. One suspect was carrying a long gun which they used to hit the victim in the face. The suspects ran off with the victim’s car keys and cash.

There is limited suspect description: Possibly up to 5 black male suspects, all wearing dark clothing. One suspect is armed with a long gun.
