ROCKFORD (WIFR) – Rockford Police arrested the man who allegedly robbed LC Auto Sale late Wednesday night just minutes after he stole a car. It happened around 11:30 p.m. on the intersection of Maple and Tanner.

An anonymous call reported a suspicious vehicle in that area and when police arrived they matched the vehicle with the one stolen from the business. Suggs is believed to have broken in to steal the keys to the vehicle in LC Auto on the 1300 block of Broadway.

Suggs is charged with a burglary to a business and theft of an auto.
