ROCK COUNTY (WIFR) -- A Beloit man finds himself back in handcuffs just two hours after being released from jail.
Michael McThune is now charged with stealing a car and leading officers on a high speed chase through Rock County.
The sheriff's office says McThune stole a car that was warming up in the 2400 block of West Burbank Avenue in Janesville. Deputies spotted the car a few minutes later and chased McThune at speeds of about 100 miles an hour. He lost control and crashed the car at Riverside and Henry in Beloit. McThune then got out and ran off, but officers caught him.
