ROCKFORD (WIFR) – A man was shot in the leg late Sunday night on the 1800 block of Hulin Street. Police say two men shot several rounds at the car the man was driving. The victim then crashed his car into a pole and was shot while trying to run away.

The victim is being treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Police have no one in custody.

Police have limited suspect descriptions; however, they are looking for two black men who are both armed with handguns.
