ROCKFORD (WIFR) – What started as a “living room sale” in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is now the leading children’s and maternity consignment sales event in the country with over 130 franchises in 27 states, including Rockford, Illinois.
So far, more than 100 local moms have registered to participate in Just Between Friends (JBF) - a semi-annual kid’s consignment sales event, in which moms sell new and gently used clothes and toys their kids have outgrown as well as bargain shop for things they might need – all under one roof in one weekend.
This year, area residents are invited to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

Rockford native Heather White has traveled to a similar sale in Madison and is looking forward to being able to shop in Rockford. “I have eighteen-month-old twins and money is tight. Many of the items I have are hardly worn before more clothes must be purchased. Since my twins outgrow clothes so quickly and they constantly need new clothes, all of these different sized clothing starts to pile up! The sale gives us needed space for the larger sized clothes the girls are growing into.” Like Heather, many moms will be selling new and gently used clothing and toys; while seeking new items at bargain prices. All of this can found at the JBF sale on March 14-16 at Tebala Shrine Center.
