ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Katryna Kirby, Account Executive with PR Etc., has been elected to serve as President of the Seward Park District board. Seward Park District is a newly formed entity as a result of the November election in Seward, IL.

The park district will be housed in the former Seward School, which was built in 1957 and has been a community icon for decades. Seward Park District will strive to offer a variety of programs for children, youth, adults and seniors. Kirby will serve on the board for a two-year term.
