A local business is celebrating its grand re-opening this month.

Katie's Cup on Seventh Street in Rockford is now under new ownership. The business opened in 2009 to help revitalize the economically challenged neighborhood. Seventh Street Coffee Inc. will now take over the shop.

"One of the things that we are really proud of is that we have local vendors who are coming to bring their products to be sold here some of the folks who are usually at city market," said new owner Marie Heinke.

The owners say they are expanding the business' menu and hours.
