ELGIN (WIFR) -- The Judson University Department of Architecture will host its second annual James Didier on Christ and Architecture Symposium from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 22 in the Herrick Chapel (1151 N. State St., Elgin). The event is free and open to the public.
The symposium brings together architects, educators, theologians and students for special essays and discussions around subjects of Christian worldview and architecture. James Didier, the symposium's namesake, was Judson's fourth president under whom the architecture program was founded.
Guest speakers for this year's symposium include Elise Edwards of Muse Creative Consulting, and EL Kornegay, as well as Judson Professors Dr. Mark Torgerson, Thomas Jaeger, Dr. Curtis Sartor. There is space in the event for extended discussion.
