Janesville Woman Arrested for Fourth OWI After Car Accident

ROCK COUNTY, WI - A Janesville woman has been arrested for driving while intoxicated for the fourth time after a car accident.

At 6:46 p.m. Sunday, the Rock County Sheriff's Office and Footville Fire and EMS responded to a car accident at W. CTH B and W. Mineral Point Road in Center Township.

Deputies say a white 1998 Pontiac Grand Am had been traveling eastbound on W. CTH B when the driver went too fast around the curve and went into a ditch.

42-year-old Marna C. Krumwiede was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma. According to a press release, she has a fractured vertebrae in her neck.

Krumwiede was arrested for driving while intoxicated for the fourth time, operating after revocation, failure to maintain control, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and failure to fasten seatbelt. She will appear in court May 30 at 8 a.m.
