JANESVILLE - A Janesville woman has been arrested for the fifth time for driving while intoxicated.
On Sunday at 11:08 p.m., a gas station clerk located in the 1600 block of East Racine Street called Janesville police to check on a customer. According to a press release, the clerk said the customer was stumbling inside of the store, said she lost her car in the parking lot and that she needed help with her debit card to buy something.
Police say after they arrived, they spotted the woman leaving in her car and stopped her after she swerved across the center line.
49-year-old Patricia E. Hexom admitted to drinking and refused to submit to field sobriety tests. She was arrested and taken to the Rock County Jail.
