JANESVILLE (WIFR) -- Students representing the Challenge Program at Roosevelt and Madison Elementary Schools recently competed in the second of three meets for this year’s WordMasters Challenge™—a national vocabulary competition involving nearly 150,000 students annually.
Competing in the difficult Blue Division of the WordMasters Challenge™, fourth graders Isaac Stried and Cayden Erickson from Roosevelt’s Challenge Program and fourth graders Audrey Smiley, Angela Zrnich, and Daniel Deltgen from Madison’s Challenge Program received outstanding scores.
The students were coached in preparation for the WordMasters Challenge™ by Lori Lowe (3rd grade), Beth Ulring (4th grade), Victoria Kratz (4th grade) and Lynn Little (5th grade).
