Janesville Police Searching for Dog that Bit Pedestrian

PRESS RELEASE:

JANESVILLE (WIFR) -- The Janesville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a dog that bit a pedestrian. On 4-11-13 at approximately 8:10 AM, a 34 year old female walking on the bike trail along the west side of the Rock River under the Memorial Bridge was bitten by a dog whose owner is unknown. The dog is described as a lab/chow mix medium sized, tri-colored tan, brown, and black. The dog had a collar which was possibly green in color with no tags. The dog ran from the area in an unknown direction. The female was treated at a local hospital and released.
