Janesville Police Looking for Dog that Bit Man

JANESVILLE (WIFR) -- The Janesville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a dog that bit a man on a bicycle. On 8-12-13 at approximately 5:20pm, a 52 year old male riding a bicycle on the bike path behind 222 N. Franklin St. was bitten by a dog whose owner is unknown. The dog is described as a pit bull large sized, bi-colored brown and white. The dog was leashed and had a collar with tags. The dog was accompanied by his owner who helped the man up and said his dog was up to date with vaccines and licenses. The owner is described as a Hispanic male approximately fifty years old, short, and has a medium build.
