ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Dozens are uniting to end prostitution in not only our area but across the nation.
Members with the Society for the Abolition of Modern Slavery held a community meeting this afternoon at First Evangelical Covenant Church. Organizers say we need to work
together to stop the crime in all of its forms.
“This is a monstrous problem. It is staggering in its scope and it’s gross in its detail and we can end it, that’s what we need to do," says Genevieve Dibley, who helped organize the local human trafficking summit.
