Horton Sentenced to 6 Years for Mob Action

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Even though he was found not guilty of murder a Rockford man is heading to prison.

Clifford Horton was sentenced on Wednesday to six years for Mob Action. He's one of the three men arrested for the murder of Charles Spivey.

Back in January of 2011, Spivey was one of four people shot as they were leaving a party in the 1900 block of Sherman Avenue.

Police also arrested Antwan Maxey, but murder charges against him were dropped when prosecutors missed their deadline. Maxey is still in prison for running from police.

Lamont Cole is the only suspect to be sentenced in Spivey's death, he's currently serving 165 years.
