ROCKTON (WIFR) -- Hononegah Community High School had quite the scare in December when someone called in a bomb threat. Now, school leaders are revamping the way they’d handle another emergency situation.
This morning, over 150 students and staff participated in the planned out reunification drill. The procedure stimulates the evacuation process and how they’d get students to a second location to be reunited with their parents. Four different spots were used in today’s successful drill.
“I feel confident that we have a strong safety plan in place and that we are constantly revamping that and looking at what’s best practice,” said Assistant Superintendent Kim Suedbeck.
