ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- During the month of October, Hononegah Community High School Student Council member Jonathon Lee and the Class of 2015 collected 245 used cell phones as part of the Hope Phones Cell Phone Drive.
Hope Phones is a non-profit organization that gives isolated people in the developing world access to medical care by recycling old and used cell phones to support new technology in the field. For each cell phone that is recycled, Hope Phones gets approximately $5 to provide public health abroad.
