Today, Tina Stein emceed the American Heart Association's annual Go Red for Women luncheon, where about 300 people were there sporting shades of red. This is a particularly important fundraiser for the organization. There were stories of survival, including Alice Hasting who learned she needed a heart stent after going almost two years not feeling right.

"The vascular surgeon was really surprised that i was up and walking, it really meant that i could have possibly had a massive stroke or massive heart attack,” said survivor Alice Hasting.
There was also a neat cooking demonstration on how to cook heart healthy. It included a cupcake recipe that used pureed purnes, instead of oil.
