Gas Prices Up Due to Refinery Woes

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Gas prices are skyrocketing in the Stateline.

The price at the pump at many gas stations is pushing $4.00 a gallon. According to GasBuddy.com that's about a 20 cent jump since Monday. It's all because maintenance at four oil refineries in the Midwest, including, Joliet are taking longer than expected. Right now, the national average is $3.62/g.
