BELVIDERE (WIFR) -- This weekend is also Frank Lloyd Wright's Brithday.
The Belvidere Area Chamber of Commerce held a pre-birthday bash on Thursday for the architect inside the Petitt Chapel. Its a building Wright designed back in 1903.
We're told the chapel is named after Doctor Petitt who passed away in the early 1900s and at the time there were no buildings in the Belvidere Cemetery to hold a ceremony. So Petitt's widow had the chapel built in his honor.
Wright also designed the Laurent House in Rockford.
