FREEPORT (WIFR) -- Here's something you don't see every day, a flock of three thousand ducks floating on a local creek.
Those are rubber ducks we're talking about. The duckies were let loose on Yellow Creek in Krape Park for Ducks Gone Wild. It’s an annual fundraiser for the Rotary Club in Freeport. Over the last several weeks, folks could buy a duck to compete in the race. The first 24 ducks to reach the finish line were eligible for a prize. Those winners will be announced on Monday.
