BOONE COUNTY (WIFR) -- The Boone County State’s Attorney announced that on March 22, 2013, Michael Bullard, 37, of Elgin was sentenced to 8 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for three counts of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
Between July and August of 2011, Bullard made three deliveries of a substance containing cocaine to a confidential informant in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart Store in Belvidere. These deliveries were for amounts of 0.8 grams, 1.7 grams, and 2.4 grams, making the crimes Class 1 felonies.
A Class 1 felony is punishable by four to fifteen years in the Department of Corrections.
